If I want to become a japanese translator what do I need to do?

Besides learning the language of course. I'd like to learn Japanese and then use it as a translator while I live in Japan.|||learn the culture and customs along with the language....japanese history is extremely interesting and you will be suprised to learn that some of the things the western world thought they knew about Japan is incorrect....This is a disciplined and beautiful culture full of beauty and honor....... it's a difficult language...but well worth the effort......|||just learn it i guess|||study Japanese language|||go to college and study japaness|||use hotjobs and type in "speak japanese" then hit enter|||Eat lots of Sushi.|||learn the language then go the embassy there and apply for translator positions|||You might want to take a history course on the culture, so you can understand them socially.|||go to japan|||Learn Japanese.


Talk to Japanese.


Listen to Japanese.|||im a high school freshman and im taking french


so far i learned the easy things first


- numbers


-alphabet


say them out loud





listen to some beginner jap lang. tapes or watch vdos|||wanna be a japanera?
