Get paid to become Japanese translator?

I was told to look into working through government/military because I want to be a Japanese translator. They said that I maybe able to get my college paid for and everything. Where could I find more information on this?|||call your local recruiter , look in the telephone book. the enlistment is a good idea, dont pass it up, chance of a life time- ill never regret it.
