What is the average salary of a English to Japanese translator/editor in JAPAN?

It really depends on which field you are.

The more goes into specialized (like medical, IT, or political, etc..), the more get paid well.

I currently work in the medical field as a translater (only on paper, non conversational included), and the salary is not bad.

It probably starts around 200,000 yen to up to 450,000 yen/ month.

and if you are hired as a full-fledged employee, you'll also get bonus twice a year.|||i like top romen|||It could be some between 4-7M yen for one year.
